ABOUT
Merivelle Hannah is an award-winning student filmmaker. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Merivelle was exposed to the industry at an early age when she first visited her grandfather, Lou Antonio, on the set of Boston Legal and by visiting the Actor's Studio West, where she saw first hand the workings of Lee Strasberg Method acting.
In 2021, her first micro short, "First Gig", won multiple awards in three film festivals and seven official selections. Merivelle's 2nd micro short, "When I Met Mia" was accepted in ten film festivals and received six awards in a variety of categories in 2021 and 2022.

In 2023, her short film "Codependent on Desire" premiered at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, while "Opa", another short film, premiered at The Lady Filmmakers Festival in September, 2023. Both of these films have also won multiple awards.

Merivelle is currently attending The Lee Strasberg Institute of Film & Theater.
